Activities
For attainment of the laid down aims and objectives, the GKK has been running the following activities in 45 Samaj Sadans (30 in Delhi and 15 outstations; 4 at Mumbai, 3 at Chennai, 3 at Bangalore, two at Nagpur, one each at Kolkata, Ghaziabad and Faridabad) and 12 welfare centres in Delhi and 10 welfare centres outside Delhi (Chennai-4,Jaipur-1,Mumbai-3 and Dehradoon 2).
| (i) | Craft Classes: Training in cutting, tailoring and embroidery for the housewives and grown up girls during their leisure hours; |
| (ii) | Nursery Classes: for pre-school children in the age group of 3 to 5 years; |
| (iii) | Crèche or Day care centres: For the children between the age group of 90 days to 10 years; |
| (iv) | Indoor Games: Like Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis etc; |
| (v) | Health club cum Fitness, Multi Gyms, Gyms and weight lifting centres; |
| (vi) | Recreational activities like Yoga, Karate, Aerobics, Brain Development classes, Music and Dance, Beauty Classes etc held by Private Parties on fee sharing basis; |
| (vii) | Hiring out of Samaj Sadans to the central Government employees and others to enable them to hold social and cultural functions. |
