Craft Classes
Craft Centres run by the GKK which provides vocational training to and instill self confidence in the dependants, are very popular among the families of low grade employees of Central Government and other similarly placed workers. The GKK runs 10 Craft classes in Delhi and 18 in outstation centres. Student-teacher ratio is not allowed to exceed 25:1 as far as possible. The details are as under:

(b) TIMINGS
General timings: 12:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
As per users requirement, timings for certain Centres Sadiq Nagar, Lodhi Road Complex, Pushp Vihar have been changed from. 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Six days a week (except 2nd Saturday and holiday)
(c) ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission to Craft is made at each Centre. Application forms can be obtained from respective Craft Centre. The parents/guardians may download the application form and other instructions from the ‘Download Forms’ Section on the GKK website. There is no age limit for admission to the Craft class.
(d) FEE
Admission fee along with tuition fee is to be deposited through cheque drawn in favour of Grih Kalyan Kendra payable at Delhi, in advance on quarterly basis. Sewing Machines are provided and maintained by the GKK. Fee structure payable for Craft Class is as under:-

(e) EXAMINATION PROCEDURE
At the end of the year, examination of the students of Delhi, Faridabad and Ghaziabad Centres attending the regular courses are held centrally by the HQ office. Common test papers are got prepared and test is conducted centrally at Lodhi Road Complex premises. Papers are got evaluated from experienced craft teachers and result is declared. Certificates are issued to the students who qualify in the examination held by the GKK. The examination at outstations is conducted by the Centre-in-Charge and Certificates are issued by the GKK HQ office on the basis of result declared.
